Burlington’s Royal Botanical Gardens is taking registration for its early-years program for children and caregivers.

Oaks & Acorns Nature Play allows kids aged 2 to 5 to move, create, and discover at the Nature Play Space.

This program is designed to inspire a life-long love of nature and the outdoors.

Participants will explore the natural world together through nature walks, storytelling, imaginative and loose parts play, and hands-on discovery, with all programs modified for safe outdoor interaction. This program takes place entirely outdoors.

The health and safety of participants and staff at RBG is a priority. Families will be required to complete a COVID-19 screening, to be done online at home, each morning of their attendance in an Oaks and Acorns program.

The summer session of the program will run Saturdays, from July 9 to Aug. 20 (skipping July 30) from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Cost for a six-week pass is $100 per child and single session is $18 per child. There are a maximum of 12 children per program and parents are reminded this is not a drop off program, you must stay with your child for the duration of the program

All fees include complimentary admission for 1 parent/caregiver and includes admission to all RBG garden areas for the day.

Pre-registration is required for all early-years programming. If you have any questions about the registration process, call 905-527-1158, ext. 270.
