Splash pads in Halton Hills to open in time for long weekend

Two splash pads in Halton Hills will be opening this week just in time for the Victoria Day long weekend.

The splash pads at Prospect Park in Acton and Gellert Community Park in Georgetown will be opening on Friday, May 20.

The splash pad at Dominion Gardens Park, however, will remain closed for the time being due to concrete surfacing replacement. The anticipated completion date for this work is spring 2022.

Residents are encouraged to bring their water toys and stop by to enjoy the two splash pads, which will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning May 20.
