Shoplifter who allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of goods from Fortinos arrested in Burlington

Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a suspect for shoplifting in Burlington.

Earlier tonight (December 14), HRPS officers, including the K9 unit, was able to apprehend a suspect who allegedly stole more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from a Fortinos on Plains Road.

According to HRPS, the suspect is a serial shoplifter who’s wanted for similar crimes by other police services.

He will be spending the night in jail, and attending a bail hearing tomorrow (December 15).
