Get those umbrellas out, it’s going to be a very rainy week for much of southern Ontario.

The weekly forecast is calling for rain this evening and throughout the day on Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

Some rain is also expected on Thursday evening and on Saturday.

Environment Canada says periods of rain beginning early Monday morning may create hazardous driving conditions due to the wet roads and reduced visibility.

“Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm are possible by Monday night. Localized flooding in low lying areas is possible,” says Environment Canada.

Temperatures will be a few degrees above seasonal later in the week, but windy conditions are also expected, according to The Weather Network.
