Police spot people fleeing Oakville high school after reported break-in

Halton Regional Police responded to a report of a break-in at an Oakville high school Saturday morning (Feb. 10) and discovered several people fleeing the scene upon their arrival.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, police received a report of a break-in at Iroquois Ridge High School, located at 1123 Glenashton Dr.

When police got there they spotted multiple people fleeing the school, though several would remain and speak to the officers.

The school had no evidence of damage and no signs of forced entry were spotted. Police also didn’t discover anything stolen.

Halton police are investigating the incident.
