Police seeking to identify suspect after thefts at five LCBO locations in Burlington

Halton police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify a suspect involved in theft incidents at five LCBO locations in Burlington.

Police say the suspect attended various LCBO locations in Burlington on the following days.

On Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at 4:35 p.m., the suspect attended the LCBO located at 501 Appleby Line in Burlington and selected nine bottles of tequila valued at $735.

On Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 2:52 p.m., the suspect entered the LCBO located at 2000 Appleby Line in Burlington and selected 8 bottles of Scotch valued at $639.60.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2021, at 4:10 p.m., the suspect entered the LCBO located at 1235 Fairview St. in Burlington and selected 3 bottles of Whiskey and 2 bottles of Scotch valued at $512.95.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2021, at 4:40 p.m., the suspect entered the LCBO located at 2025 Guelph Line in Burlington and selected 8 bottles of Tequila valued at $538.60.

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 6:35pm, the suspect entered the LCBO located at 501 Appleby Line in Burlington and selected 10 bottles of Tequila valued at $899.50.

On all five occasions, the suspect left the store without making any attempts to purchase the alcohol, according to police.

Police say the total value of all the liquor taken exceeds $3,325.

According to police, the suspect is described as male, white, possibly in his late 30s or early 40s, approximately 178cm, 80kg and was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black shoes and a blue-coloured Toronto Maple Leafs cap.

Police say the suspect is also known to wear a camouflage-style cap and medical mask. The suspect wore a high visibility orange-coloured safety jacket. In this occurrence, the suspect was also wearing a blue-coloured medical mask, according to police.
