Halton Police are searching for a suspect following a break and enter that occurred at a Pizza Nova location in Georgetown, Halton Hills.

Halton Police are searching for a suspect following a break and enter that occurred at a Pizza Nova location in Georgetown, Halton Hills.

The break and enter, according to police, took place at the Pizza Nova in Georgetown located at 369 Mountainview Rd. S.

According to police, at 2:57 a.m. on Aug. 14, 2019, a male suspect broke into the restaurant by smashing the glass front door with a rock. 

The suspect entered the store and took a cash register.

The suspect left the scene in a waiting vehicle, and the vehicle was last seen driving southbound through the rear of the plaza.

According to police, investigators believe this offence was executed by a suspect with experience committing similar crimes.

The suspect is described as someone who is white, and has an average height and build. Police also say the suspect was clean shaven.

The vehicle is described as a dark-coloured SUV or crossover, with alloy wheels and a dual exhaust.
