New Art Exhibitions On Showcase In Halton Hills

For anyone who is a fan of art and is a resident or visiting Halton Hills, two exciting shows can be viewed now.

Two new exhibitions are showcase now at Halton Hills Cultural Centre.

For anyone who is a fan of art and is a resident or visiting Halton Hills, two exciting shows can be viewed now.

Two new exhibitions are showcase now at Halton Hills Cultural Centre.

Artists at Work is on view at the Helson Gallery til June 9. The collection look at the training, techniques and professional careers of historic and contemporary artists. Works by Canadian painter, Clara Harris, are also featured alongside paintings from the local private collections. Clara Harris was a Canadian impressionist painter in the 19th century.

Recent Landscape Paintings by the Halton Hills Plein Air Artists will be featured til June 16 in the lower lobby. The paintings are a collection of local scenery and are all available for purchase.

The Halton Hills Cultural Centre boasting a wide range of exciting ways to engage in local culture. it features a live performing arts theatre, art gallery and public library and a common spaces full with works from local artists. The Helson Gallery is the permanent home of the Helson Collection and many unique art exhibitions.

Mayor Rick Bonnette says, “our Cultural Centre provides an excellent venue for a variety of exhibitions that I’m sure visitors will enjoy and learn from.” 

The Helson Gallery is located at 9 Church Street, Halton Hills and is open Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. It is also open on Thursdays from 1 to 8:30 p.m.
