Mobile clinic brings COVID-19 vaccine to Burlington residents

If you need to catch up on your COVID-19 vaccination, a clinic this week may make it a little easier.

The Government of Ontario-sponsored GO-VAXX Bus will be stationed at the Royal Botanical Gardens on Friday (March 17) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. located at 680 Plains Rd. W.

Healthcare professionals will be available during that time period to administer the regular vaccine as well as the booster shot.

To get your shot you can make an appointment or you can just walk in (as supplies last).

Appointments can be booked through the vaccination website.

The GO-VAXX Bus operates with the assistance of Metrolinx to provide convenient options for people to receive their COVID‑19 vaccine.

GO buses have been converted to serve as mobile vaccine clinics to get COVID‑19 vaccines directly to people, wherever they are located –travelling to malls, festivals, community hubs and events across Southern Ontario and beyond.

Each bus operates as a fully functioning vaccine clinic with the necessary supplies and trained staff to provide assistance to people and ensure vaccines are administered safely. All COVID‑19 safety precautions will be followed on board, including the required pre-vaccination screening and post-vaccination monitoring.
