Milton Transit has partnered with the Milton Public Library again this year on a program that offers free transportation to youth ages 16 and under all summer.

The “Read and Ride” program will run from June 25 to Sept. 3, 2022, and will enable youth in Milton to ride transit for free with their library cards.

Transit validation stickers will be available for free at every Milton Public Library branch beginning June 25.

Stickers must be placed onto library cards in order for them to become “validated” and can then be used to ride transit for free, anywhere in Milton.

The launch of the program will take place at the Main Library branch on June 25 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. as part of the kick-off for the Milton Public Library’s TD Summer Reading Club.

During the event, a Milton Transit bus will be on hand for boarding and exploring.

Participants will also be able to participate in games and activities and receive their validation stickers.
