UPDATE: Update: The vehicle has been removed and the highway has reopened. No injuries were reported.
Clean up is underway after a vehicle caught fire on Highway 401 at Lakeridge Road around the lunch hour Tuesday.
The OPP Highway Safety Division reported the burnt-out SUV on the westbound lanes just before 1 p.m. The right-hand lane and the onramp from Lakeridge Road are currently blocked while emergency crews work to clear the scene.
