Investigation underway after special needs student at Oakville school allegedly slapped by staff member

Halton District School Board (HDSB) is investigating after an alleged report of a special needs student being slapped by a staff member at an Oakville school.

The alleged incident involves a student who attends Falgarwood Public School in Oakville.

In a statement from the HDSB to insauga, the school board confirmed that they are investigating the incident.

“The Halton District School Board is aware of these concerns and we are investigating.”

“We are not able to comment any further on the issue however because it is a personnel matter.”
