How to organize a community litter clean-up in Oakville

Oakville residents who are interested in organizing a community clean-up may still do so amid the COVID-19 pandemic as long as public health guidelines are followed.
These guidelines include social distancing and wearing non-medical face masks.
To place an order for gloves and garbage bags, individuals or a community group representative can email Mike Viles at [email protected].
Residents are reminded to specify the estimated date and area of clean-up, the number of pairs of gloves needed in each size (either large or medium) and the number of bags needed in the email.
An email will also need to be sent out to Mike Viles within 24 hours of completing the clean-up with information on where the filled bags have been placed.
