If you have ever wondered whether your home is vulnerable to a break and enter, worry no more because the Halton Police have a way you can find out.

Project Safeguard.

According to the Halton Regional Police Service, Project Safeguard was created to help Halton residents address key external home safety concerns.

It is operated regionwide by the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) Auxiliary Policing Services Unit and runs throughout the year, subject to officer availability.

Halton Regional Police Service Auxiliary officers visit homes, with pre-scheduled appointments, and conduct external security checks.

At the end of the one-hour inspection, homeowners will receive written reports with recommendations for improving the overall security of their home.

To book a Project Safeguard appointment, email [email protected]and provide your name, municipality and contact number.

Space is limited and residents who cannot be accommodated in a given session will be contacted at a later date.
