Halton’s daily COVID-19 case count falls below 80

Halton Region’s daily COVID-19 case count has fallen below 80 after having been below 100 for the past four days in a row.

Today (May 14), Ontario is reporting 2,362 new cases of COVID-19, 76 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 15 new cases, Oakville has 31, Milton has 20 and Halton Hills has 10.

A total of 15,778 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 220 people have passed away.

There are currently 634 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 4,949 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 44,040 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
