Four arrested after Halton police raid residences in Burlington, Hamilton

Four people have been charged following a month-long drug trafficking and property theft investigation by the Halton Regional Police.

Police executed search warrants at residences in Burlington and Hamilton last week and laid nearly 30 charges.

In addition, police seized 28 grams of fentanyl, $12,400 in counterfeit cash, stolen identification, stolen licence plate, stolen cheque book, replica revolver, stolen Ford Explorer and Chevrolet Blazer.

Investigators also arrested four people as a result of this investigation.

A 39 year-old male from Hamilton has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of counterfeit currency, possession of a controlled substance and breaching probation.

A 28 year-old female from Hamilton has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime, possession of counterfeit currency, possession of a controlled substance and breaching a release order

A 30 year old male from Burlington has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), weapons dangerous, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of counterfeit currency, theft of a motor vehicle and four breaches of probation.

A 29 year-old female from Burlington has been charged with, possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl), weapons dangerous, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime, possession of counterfeit currency and breach of a release order.

Police did not release the names of those charged.
