Fire officials are trying to determine what caused a blaze that broke out at a home under construction in Mississauga on Tuesday night.
Fire crews were called to the home on Pear Tree Road, north of the QEW near Cawthra Road, around 10:30 p.m., a spokesperson for Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services told INsauga.com.
There was no one in the home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported, the spokesperson said.
There was reportedly heavy smoke and the blaze was upgraded to a second alarm.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time. Fire officials said they were unable to investigate further as the damage to the home made it unsafe to enter.
