A Burlington home sold for more than $400,000 over asking price in just two days, going for more than $1.3M.

The three-bedroom, two-storey freehold townhouse at 1745 Creek Way sold for $1,357,000 on Feb. 6, well over the asking price of $949,000

Originally, the property sold for $499,000 in 2015.

The 3-bed, 2.5 end unit backs onto greenspace in the Uptown neighbourhood of Burlington’s east end and comes with a two-car garage.

The large, eat-in kitchen has a walkout to a private backyard and the oversized living room has a fireplace.

Home prices in Burlington, and across the GTA, have been on a sharp increase recently, due mainly to a very limited supply.

The average price of a townhome in Burlington is about $1.16M, an increase of 31.4 per cent since last year.

In this neighbourhood, the average price has been just under $1M.
