Burlington Performing Arts Centre cancels Andy Kim’s New Year’s Eve concert

The Burlington Performing Arts Centre New Year’s Eve concert has been cancelled.

The event was supposed to feature Andy Kim, best known for his hit songs Rock Me Gently and Sugar, Sugar.

Comedian Sean Cullen was the host and special guests included Ron Sexsmith, Chris Murphy, Jully Black and Danny Michel.

The concert was supposed to be a fundraiser for BPAC’s Golden Ticket Program, which provides free access to live entertainment and education opportunities to students and families.

Tickets cost $69.50 for non-members, with a special VIP ticket costing $89.50 which included a meet and greet with the performers as well as sparkling wine and hors d’oeuvres.
