Burlington man charged with trafficking and possession of drugs following downtown raid

After a month-long investigation, a Burlington man is facing possession and trafficking of narcotics charges.

Halton police identified a suspect after he was observed conducting drug transactions and posting that he had drugs for sale on various social media platforms.

Yesterday, Oct. 25, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the area of Ghent Ave. and Brant St. in Burlington.

As a result of the search warrant, 1040 ml of hydrocodone was seized.

A 20-year-old Burlington man was arrested and charged with possession and trafficking of hydrocodone and obstruction of police.

He was released on an undertaking.
